Detailed Information

The South Australian Obedience Dog Club (S.A.O.D.C.) is a longstanding institution in Adelaide, founded in 1955 by the late Harold Camm, a respected instructor with the German Shepherd Dog League. The club was established to provide comprehensive training for all breeds of dogs, filling a gap in the market at that time. Since its inception, S.A.O.D.C. has been dedicated to serving the local community and has a rich history of success and achievement.

S.A.O.D.C. is the first all-breeds dog training club in South Australia, welcoming dogs of all breeds and crossbreeds for training. The club is affiliated with the South Australian Canine Association (Dogs SA) and adheres to their rules and regulations. With a focus on obedience training, the club offers classes led by experienced instructors who guide members through a curriculum designed to enhance their dog handling and training skills.

Located in Parkland 17 within the Adelaide South Parklands, S.A.O.D.C. provides training sessions on Tuesday mornings and evenings from March to November. The club’s commitment to quality training is evident in its Hot Weather Policy, ensuring the safety and well-being of both dogs and owners during extreme weather conditions. With a strong relationship with the Adelaide City Council and other obedience clubs, S.A.O.D.C. continues to be a trusted and reputable destination for dog owners seeking professional training services.
