We focus on standard Groodles with European bloodlines, known for their larger size, round teddy bear faces, and wavy to curly, low-shedding coats.
At Rux Groodles, we breed F1b standard Groodles, a cross between a golden retriever and a standard poodle. This breeding method results in puppies that are 75% Poodle and 25% English Golden Retriever, combining the best traits of both breeds. Our dogs typically have fleecy/wavy or curly coats that are low to non-shedding, making them an excellent choice for individuals with allergies. Each puppy comes with health information on the parents, as we prioritize genetic analysis and DNA testing to ensure the well-being of our dogs and their offspring.
Founded by Jason and Michelle, Rux Groodles originated from their love for their first Groodle, Bonnie. Inspired by Bonnie’s calm demeanor, intelligence, and non-shedding coat, the couple decided to share the joy of owning a Groodle with others. With a limited number of litters and a commitment to raising dogs in family homes rather than kennels, Rux Groodles aims to provide well-socialized, loving companion animals that enhance the lives of their owners.
