K9 Rescue Group is a not-for-profit organization that was established in 1990 with a mission to rescue, care for, and rehome dogs in Western Australia. Serving the Peel, Rockingham, Kwinana, and Cockburn areas, our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to find loving homes for approximately 200-300 dogs each year. We are committed to promoting responsible dog ownership and strive to create a community where every dog is treated as a valued member.
Our adoption process at K9 Rescue Group involves filling out an Adoption Questionnaire to help match dogs with suitable homes, followed by a Doggie Meet and Greet. We rescue the majority of our dogs from pounds and shelters, providing them with essential care and training before finding them forever families. Through education and outreach, we aim to raise awareness about the benefits of pet ownership and the importance of compassionate treatment towards animals.
At K9 Rescue Group, our team includes passionate individuals like Linda, Lee, Katrina, Graham, Leonie, Nina, and others who bring diverse skills and experiences to our organization. From event planning and fundraising to kennel management and community engagement, each member plays a vital role in our efforts to rescue and rehome dogs in need. If you share our love for dogs and want to make a difference, consider volunteering with us or sponsoring a dog to support their care and well-being.
