DCH Animal Adoptions, which stands for “dogs, cats and horses”, is a NSW-based non-profit animal rescue charity (CFN 18284) dedicated to rescuing and rehoming unwanted and neglected domestic animals. Our primary focus is on dogs, cats, and horses, but we also occasionally assist with other animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. We operate under the NSW Rehoming Organisation Number: R251000023.
Our team of dedicated volunteers works tirelessly to rescue animals facing euthanasia in Sydney’s pounds and shelters, as well as horses from the knackery. We provide these animals with essential veterinary care and foster homes until we can find them permanent, loving families. Additionally, we help rehome surrendered dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, and horses from owners who are unable to care for them due to various circumstances.
Through our foster care system, we gather valuable insights about each animal’s behavior and needs in a home environment, enabling us to match them with suitable adopters. DCH Animal Adoptions is entirely volunteer-run, with individuals fulfilling various roles to ensure the well-being and successful rehoming of our rescued animals.
