Caboolture & Districts Animal Welfare (CADAWI) is a well-established organization dedicated to rehoming cats and dogs in the Caboolture and Bribie Island areas and their surrounding communities. With over 30 years of experience, CADAWI operates without a refuge, relying on a network of devoted foster homes to provide care and socialization for animals in need. Their primary focus is on fostering dogs and domestic cats, preparing them for their forever homes.
CADAWI is a registered not-for-profit organization with the Australian Tax Office, run entirely by volunteers. They fund their operations through two op shops located in Caboolture and Bribie Island. In addition to rehoming animals, CADAWI offers programs such as subsidized desexing and microchipping for pensioners, as well as providing free animal food and discounted services for community members facing financial difficulties in caring for their pets.
Through their dedication to animal welfare, CADAWI not only helps rehome dogs, puppies, kittens, and cats but also supports other animal rescue organizations in southeast Queensland through regular donations. If you are looking to adopt a furry companion or support their cause, visit one of CADAWI’s op shops or reach out to them directly for more information on how you can get involved or contribute to their mission.
