Animal Welfare League NSW – North Coast Volunteer Branch has been serving the local community for over 25 years, with a dedicated team of approximately 20 volunteers committed to helping animals in need. Our branch area spans from the Queensland border to Coffs Harbour, providing essential services and support to animals in the region.
- Our desexing assistance scheme, operational between October and May each year, is facilitated through participating vets across the branch area, promoting responsible pet ownership and population control.
- We also host discounted microchipping days periodically throughout the year, offering a convenient and affordable way for pet owners to ensure the safety and identification of their beloved animals.
- Additionally, our Cat Adoption Centre in Mullumbimby provides a safe haven for surrendered cats and kittens, offering them care and shelter until they find their forever homes. We welcome fundraisers, foster carers, and volunteers at the centre, as their support is crucial to our mission.
