Adventure Vets is a mobile veterinary service founded by Dr. Kristina Fisher, a dedicated and experienced veterinarian who graduated from the University of Glasgow School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012. With a background in small animal, mixed animal, and emergency practice in the UK, Dr. Fisher ventured to Australia in 2017 seeking new challenges. Her journey led her to Tasmania in June 2020, where she identified a need for veterinary services in the greater Launceston area to Freycinet region. Inspired during a freediving course in Bicheno, Adventure Vets was born out of Dr. Fisher’s passion for providing compassionate care to animals in their own environment.
Dr. Kristina Fisher’s commitment to animal welfare and personalized care has garnered praise from the community, with clients commending her compassion and expertise in veterinary medicine. Adventure Vets offers appointments Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, with the flexibility to accommodate arrangements outside these hours.
